The Irishman Single Malt
This is one of our favourite Irish blends and for many of our staff it is a most reliable inexpensive whiskey. This was formerly called Irishman 70 and was so named because it contains a ratio of 70% malt whiskey to 30% pot still whiskey. It is a unique blend because it does not contain any inferior (and cheaper) grain whiskey. In actual fact it is better than many Irish single malts we have tried!
The Irishman Single Malt is a hugely popular brand. Triple distilled and aged in both bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, this has plenty of ripe-fruit notes, along with vanilla sweetness, toasted nuts and apricot.
