VINEYARD

Multiple vineyards across the wider Riverina geographic indicator with a smidge of the Victorian cool climate of the King Valley.

SEASON

A dry winter followed by moderate rains in late spring and early summer enabled vines to produce a healthy crop of fruit. A dry harvest period ensured no disease and optimum ripening conditions. Producing very pure wines with good varietal expression and flavour.

TASTING NOTE

Light straw in colour. Lifted aromas of ripe peach and nectarine complemented with vanilla oak. The palate is soft and creamy and exhibits ripe stone fruits. Integrated oak and a gentle acid nuance for a very long finish.

WINE STYLE

Soft, fresh and fruity dry white.

WINEMAKING

A large percentage of juice was handled oxidatively. This develops a richer and riper stone fruit spectrum in the resultant wine. The primary fermentation is completed on oak, this allows for quicker and greater integration between the fruit and oak for a harmonious balance. 63.47% fermented on oak. Some parcels are left unsulphured to go through malolactic fermentation, further softening the acid profile. 76.85% of the wines are left on light primary and secondary lees to add creaminess and weight.
