The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Torpedo is consistently rated with 91 to 94 points and is considered one of the world’s finer handmade cigars. With its natural Cuban-seed Habano wrapper, this cigar has a superb hand feel but where it excels is in the taste. It has a wonderful creamy cocoa flavor that gives some ground to nut flavors. At the halfway point the cigar takes a turn toward some stronger toasty flavor with just a touch of peppery spice, while retaining the creamy cocoa in the background.The Padron Torpedo’s flavor notably evolves from its lighter beginning into an intriguing, flavorful smoke near its end. With an almost effortless draw, you’ll have clouds of delightful smoke that is sure to relax.
