Ilegal Joven mezcal.An excellent mezcal, and it's produced using traditional methods, like roasting the agave in an earthen pit, which is always appreciated.
Nose: Fresh flowers and pipe tobacco, peppermint and smoky agave plants. Herbal.
Palate: Sweet caramel notes with hints of Corinth raisins, dried herbs and black pepper.
Finish: Floral, faintly smoky finish.
