This is an independent bottling of 8 year old Ben Nevis single malt Scotch whisky, which was matured in a single refill hogshead. It is bottled by Douglas Laing Independent Bottled as a part of their Provenance range of rare whiskies.
Nose: Opens creamy and buttery, yet piquant –running to a milk on cereal natural make up
Palate: Rich, round and still creamy, bringing in dark sugar and some late flamed orange pith
Finish: Wonderfully aromatic and mellow showing more citrus, barley and sticky dark fruit
