Loch Lomond Original
Loch Lomond Original is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied and easy drinking single malt scotch whisky. Matured in our finest oak casks, this whisky showcases a distinctive character with creamy malty notes and a hint of peat.
Crafted using our a com Straight Neck stills and more traditional Swan Neck Stills, before being aged in three varieties of American Oak casks - bourbon, refill and re-charred.
Bottled at 46%, this perfectly balanced expression is brought together by Michael Henry, our Master Blender, whose signature on each bottle is our personal assurance of quality.
NOSE: First impression of dark, warm leather that then builds into a more Highland heathery character.
TASTE: A pronounced burst of malt on the tongue with appetizing sweet cereal notes building over time to give an almost creamy texture.
FINISH: The citrus of the palate subsides, and the finish becomes more conventionally sweet.
