Torres Fransola Sauvignon Blanc
The best wines are achieved by listening to nature. That's why more than twenty years ago, we chose the privileged surroundings of Fransola, a historical estate located in one of the highest areas of the Penedès, to plant one of our most highly renowned vineyards. Ice cold nights and mild days provide an excellent climate for growing vines, giving us the best Sauvignon Blanc and Parellada grapes with which we produce this elegant, balanced wine.
Description: Sauvignon Blanc forms the basis of this unique wine, partially fermented and aged in new American oak.
Tasting Notes: Intense, complex aroma of exotic fruit (passion fruit and green fig), delicately ennobled by fine notes of toast and vanilla (from the ageing in new French oak). Good balance in the mouth thanks to the wine's acidity, with floral notes that pleasantly linger mid-palate.
Properly cellared this wine will improve over the next 3 - 5 years.
