This no age statement single malt comes to you from the depths of Tasmania, produced at the wonderful Sullivans Cove Distillery. As the name suggests, the whisky has spent the duration of its ageing in American oak casks. Exceptionally tasty stuff from the folks over in Australia.
Nose: A real nuttiness emerges first completed with an amalgamation of cereal grain and oats.
Palate: The palate is fresh and enticing with subtle notes of citrus and broader tones of vanilla.
Finish: Vanilla and hazelnuts conclude this antipodean dram.
Overall: Australian whisky made with rainforest water.
