Horst Sauer Escherndorfer Muller Thurgau
The Muller Thurgau grapes are grown in the Escherndorfer Fürstenberg vineyard. This is an 'Erste Lage' or 'first class' vineyard site - sloping and east-facing, which is in shadow in the early evening. Vines are of average age 40 years.
Bright floral and ripe apple aromas, with stone fruit, a gentle touch of spice and lightly honeyed character on the finish. The palate is rounded, textured and very long.
