An authentic bottom fermented German dark beer. Specially selected roasted malts combine powerfully with aromatic hops to deliver liquorice-aniseed notes on the nose with hints of coffee balanced by a malty caramel sweetness on the palate. Krombacher Dark is satisfyingly rich, malty and warming but also displays an edgy and thirst- quenching freshness.
