The N.V. Extra Brut Extra Old from Veuve Cliquot is entirely from reserve wines and held on the lees for a full three years in bottle for extra texture, depth and complexity.
The raw materials for this are excellent. 90% of the blend comes from the outstanding recent vintages of 2008, 2009 and 2010, while the remainder is from the brilliant 1988 and 1996 harvests. As a result, it is a superb Champagne that is nearly 30 years in the making
Supremely refined and complex, with notes of flowers, dried fruit and toasted brioche.
