The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Torpedo is consistently rated with 91 to 94 points and is considered one of the world’s finer handmade cigars. With its natural Cuban-seed Habano wrapper, this cigar has a superb hand feel but where it excels is in the taste. It has a wonderful creamy cocoa flavor that gives some ground to nut flavors. At the halfway point the cigar takes a turn toward some stronger toasty flavor with just a touch of peppery spice, while retaining the creamy cocoa in the background.The Padron Torpedo’s flavor notably evolves from its lighter beginning into an intriguing, flavorful smoke near its end.
