Introducing the Icons of Campbeltown, a new series from Glen Scotia distillery, and its inaugural entry: The Mermaid. This first release of five annual limited-editions has been matured for 12 years and combines the distillery’s unpeated whisky with a finish in palo cortado sherry casks. This rare combination adds add layers of nutty sweetness to Glen Scotia’s classic wave-crashed maritime character.
A sweet and nutty character interwoven with subtle maritime nuances, bracing Atlantic sea breeze notes on the nose, and that signature Glen Scotia saltiness on the palate.
