Loch Lomond Single Grain
Founded in 1814 our proud tradition of making quality blended single grain and single malt whisky on the shore of Loch Lomond ensure each of our whiskies is a fine example of its region and style. Indeed, wherever in the world you may be, when you enjoy our whisky, you’re experiencing the spirit of a very special place.
Distilled in our continuous still using exclusively malted barley ensures this single grain is smooth, sweet with added complexity not usually found in a single grain. Matured in the finest American oak casks under the watchful eye of Michael Henry, our master blender, ensures the perfect harmony of flavour and aroma.
Nose - Fresh cut barley fields with a malty edge, biscuity with baked apples alongside gentle lemon peel.
Taste - Crisp and delicate. Pineapple juice and a lemon zestiness with a lovely vanilla sweetness at the end.
Finish - Gentle with soft fruits alongside a juicy sweetness.
