Zacapa has been awarded first place five times in a row at the International Rum Contest - no wonder it is the only luxury rum in the Rum Hall of Fame.
Flavour Notes: Warm and smooth on the nose with hints of vanilla, honey, dried fruits, smoke and orange peel. Intense, complex and balanced on the palate: vanilla, dark chocolate, nutmeg, raisins, dried fruits, fine oak with a long lasting finish.
Serve suggestion: The complex sweet fruitiness & chocolate flavours of Zacapa, deserve to be appreciated neat or over ice as well in cocktails.
Zacapa uses virgin sugar cane honey as a raw material and is aged in altitude to slow the process which uses a Solera ageing system and four different types of oak casks during the maturation process.
