A small batch release from The English Whisky Co. bottled from sherry hogsheads used to matured this lightly peated whisky for 9 years. Notes of dried fruits, cherries and subtle smoke make this an intriguing style we have not seen before from The English Whisky Co.
Official Tasting Notes Creamy, rich and oily palate with a soft spicy smoky sweetness. Dry with oaky, wood overtones. The fruits come across with the cherries dominating. Aniseed and liquorice. Toffee and honey on the finish. Fantastic long, dry finish.
