The 2024 100% Oloroso sherry cask matured edition of Kilkerran single malt. It's delicious, smoky and ever so fruity!
Kilkerran is the sister and heavily peated sister distillery to Springbank. It was reopened in 2004 by J & A Mitchell and currently only distills roughly 3-4 months out of the year.Official Tasting NotesNose – Notes of soft peat smoke, leather-bound books and sticky toffee pudding are present on the nose.Palate – The familiar rich and dirty character of our Kilkerran 8 year old sherry series is clear to taste. We also get thick date syrup, blackcurrants, cherries, redcurrants and a maritime coastal taste.Finish – As the whisky develops, there are notes of ashy medicinal smoke, ginger and chocolate oranges.
