Nikka From The Barrel
Nikka from the Barrel is an award winning blended Japanese whisky that is deliciously balanced with notes of dried fruit, honey, coconut, spices with a subtle smokiness.
Nikka from the Barrel is Nikka’s flagship product, created by combining liquids from both of Nikka’s distilleries – Yoichi and Miyagikyo The liquids are aged for around 10 years at each distillery.
Nikka was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, who is often referred to as “The Father of Japanese Whisky”. Taketsuru had travelled to Scotland in 1918 and spent two years honing his craft.
Neat or over Ice Nikka from the Barrel also works incredibly well in an Old Fashioned or replacing a Bourbon in any classic cocktail like a Whisky Sour or Manhattan.
