40 years after putting Australia on the wine map with the first Rosemount wines, Robert Oatley and Chris Hancock are back and have set a new direction for Australian wine.
With moderate alcohol and very supple oak influence, Barossa dark fruits and black chocolate characters rise to the fore, it's generous and appealing, with soft, fine powdery tannins and lovely length of flavour.
Best served with grilled lamb, barbecue pork
