Renishaw Hall Garden Red

The English wine project uses grapes of the highest qualty grown an nationally important vineyards Renishaw Hall, Derbyshire & Welcombe Hills Warwickshire.

The grapes are hand picked and arrive at the winery in the best possible condition. The winemaker Kieron Atkinson combines old and new world winemaking techniques, working in tune with the seasons to produce award winning still and sparkling wines.

Planted in 1972 by Sir Reresby Sitwell, Renishaw Hall VIneyard wa sonce the most northerly in the world. Lying on sandy loan soil on the historic estate in North Derbyshire, it is now owned by his daughter Alexandra, a great supporter of English wine.

Bright cherry red,with a fresh red fruit aroma, packed with cherries, strawberries,hints of liquorice and pepper. With soft ripe tannins on the palate and an attack of soft summer fruits of cherry and raspberry.A lingering finish that fills the mouth with fruit and a balanced tannic aftertaste.
