Cuvee Jean Paul Rose
Vinified from the local Tannat grape variety with some Cabernet Franc and Merlot, harvested fully ripe in October. The secret of modern rosé vinification is to capture all the delicate aromatics and flavours of red grape varieties but then to cool vinify the pale-coloured juice with all the expertise of white wine vinifcation.
Tasting notes
Aromas of crushed berries (soft white and red currants) and appealing fruit flavours. Dry, with a burst of fruit and a refreshing finish. This is an easy drinking fresh rosé with real character.
Food match
A great all rounder, perfect with antipasti, salads, grilled fish and chicken.
