Chateau Capet Guillier Saint Émilion
Family-owned since the French Revolution, Capet-Guillier was named as “without question an estate to watch” by Antonio Galloni. Stéphane Derenoncourt consults here - a living legend who has made wine for some of the greatest chateaux in St Émilion.
This wine has concentrated dark fruit aromas, spice, tobacco and cedar. On the palate it is full-bodied, with layered complex flavours of cherries, bramble fruit, sweet spice and cedar wood. The tannins are smooth and supple, notes of sweet liqourice linger on the finish.
