Casa Ferreirinha Callabriga Douro Tinto
A powerful but elegant Douro red from vineyards in the Douro Superior. Judicious use of oak adds subtle spicy notes which wonderfully complement the aromas of ripe blackcurrant and blackberry.
This wine is deep ruby in colour with an intense and complex nose of ripe red and black fruits with floral nuances and hints of cocoa. On the palate, it has good body and acidity, high-quality tannins and a lovely spiciness on the long and elegant finish.
