Museum Real Reserva Tempranillo

For the Museum Real, Reserva, a very careful selection of grapes harvested by hand, in old vineyards around Cigales, in the Ribiera del Pisuerga area gives this wine it's quality.

Museum Real, Reserva, is aged for two years in French oak. Museum Real, Reserva, is a full rich wine, similar in style to Rioja. The wine goes through malolactic fermentation in new French oak followed by a further year and a half in bottle before release.The wine is made with Tempranillo (100% also known as Tinto Fino or Tinta del PaÝs in the area). Grapes from very old vineyards (from 60 to 100 years old) and very low yields(1500 kgs/ha in a good year). 

One of the finest ambassadors for the "New Spain" Museum Real is a polished, modern red with fine oak. At its core remains excellent fruit from ancient Tempranillo vines.
