Renishaw Hall Sparkling Rose
Vibrant and lively on the nose with aromas of English summer berries and rose petal. The palate is dry with the fine mousse offering a refreshing vivacity.
The historic vineyards of Renishaw Hall in Derbyshire were for a long time the most northerly in the world. They have recently lost that accolade, but they continue to utilise modern wine-making techniques to get the best out of the unique growing conditions. Since 2011 they have been in the capable hands of Kieron Atkinson, founder and owner of the English Wine Project. After nine years of active service with the British Army Kieran was ready to start a new career in English wine, completing the much coveted UK wine production course at Plumpton College in Sussex. We list a range of their wines, and the sparkling is a superb example of the ever-increasing quality of English sparkling wine.
