On the outskirts of the village of Cuers, Château Gairoird is a 45ha certified organic domaine belonging to an old Provençal family – the Counts of Pierrefeu – but not at all flashy or posh. Olivier, who is the current Count, is a quiet and thoughtful man and Château Gairoird has established a reputation for its own bottled wines.

Château Gairoird Rosé, Côtes de Provence wine is a beautiful organic rosé - gastronomic, dry and elegant with sweet fruit aromas and flavours of ripe peaches on the palate. Côtes de Provence rosé is all about the blend and up to 10 other varieties in tiny proportions go into this wine.

Food Recommendations

This organic wine is a perfect apéritif but also a good match with a crab fritter, sushi, tuna tartare or salmon. While in Provence it may be served with bouillabaisse (a tomato and saffron infused fish stew). Also suits a creamy goat cheese.
